A music-history project for active listeners
Acme Playlist Maker was created around a simple idea: chart history becomes more engaging when people can move between reading, comparing and listening. The site organizes Billboard Year-End Top 20 entries from 1956 through 2024 and connects them to a free playlist-building tool.
What makes the site different
The application is surrounded by an editorial library rather than presented as an empty utility. Every chart year has a dedicated page with context, the complete Top 20, observations derived from the list and clear internal navigation.
